  • Marbella
The municipality of Marbella can be divided in 6 main areas if we look at it from the point of view of residential Real Estate. Each different area offering great opportunities to find your dream home.First the town centre offers the Old Town or ‘Casco Antiguo’ above the ‘Parque de la Alameda’ with the oldest parts dating from the 10th century, the commercial area alongside ‘Avenida Ricardo Soriano’ and the ‘Big Apple’ or ‘Gran Manzana’ which consists of beautiful residential gated communities near the beach, buildings mainly constructed in the nineties with prestigious names such as ‘Don Gonzalo’, ‘Gran Marbella’ or ‘El Sultán’.

Second the area East of Marbella with beautiful areas offering mainly independent villas such as Los Monteros, El Rosario, Las Chapas or La Mairena and luxury apartments situated in Altos de Los Monteros, Alicate Playa or Elviria.
In between Marbella and Puerto Banús extends the famous Golden Mile with prestigious areas such as the Marbella Club, Puente Romano, Lomas de Marbella Club, La Carolina, El Vicario, and just above it enjoying spectacular views down the coastline Rocio Nagueles, Sierra Blanca and Cascada Camojan.

The fourth area consists of the Golf Valley of Nueva Andalucia built around the golf courses of Las Brisas, Los Naranjos, Aloha, Dama de Noche and Magna Marbella that connects easily with the jet set heaven Puerto Banús. Not to forget Vega Colorado and Parcelas del Golf both gated communities offering villas with 24 hour security located with buggy drive of the Mediterranean Sea.

Just west of Puerto Banús you’ll find the lovely village of San Pedro de Alcántara where you can enjoy pure andalusian lifestyle but also sandy beaches in the area of Nueva Alcántara.
Finally one of the most established residential areas offering villas and elegant apartments is without any doubt Guadalmina which was constructed in the seventies alongside the golf course and represents the most western part of the municipality.

  • Estepona
The municipality of Estepona can also be divided in 6 residential areas offering a great portfolio of recently constructed apartments and large urbanizations of traditional andalusian villas created in the seventies.
The most eastern part is the villa area called Casasola situated on the beach only separated from Marbella by the river Guadalmina.Bordering Casasola and covering the entire beach area all the way to the entrance of Estepona town is the area that is commonly called the New Golden Mile as it mainly offers established residential villa communities like Benamara and El Presidente built in the seventies-eighties and front line beach apartments constructed in the nineties to fine quality standards such as Costalita, Granados del Mar, Granados Playa, Bahia del Velerin or Dominion Beach to name just a few.

Estepona town centre offers a beautiful promenade going all the way to the Puerto Deportivo offering mainly recently renovated front line apartments as well as traditional neighborhoods and newly built apartments in the suburbs.
The mountainside of the New Golden Mile consists of villa and apartments built as of the seventies around the golf courses of El Paraiso, Atalaya , Coto la Serena and later La Resina Golf and Country Club.

The western side of Estepona, starting from Seghers which was constructed by a Belgian promoter in the seventies enjoys well established areas such as Don Pedro and Buenas Noches for villas, Arena Beach and Bahia Dorada for apartments or state-of-the-art apartments built alongside the new golf courses of Valle Romano or Estepona Golf.

Finally the area above Estepona situated mainly along the Camino de Ubrique offers independent Fincas enjoying total privacy and fabulous views towards the Mediterranean, Gibraltar and Africa.

  • Benahavis
One of the largest municipalities in Spain if we consider the surface in square meters is Benahavis, it is also one of the wealthiest municipalities in Spain. This municipality can also been divided into various residential areas offering magnificent villas, apartments and townhouses, mostly surrounded by beautiful nature and offering stunning views over golf courses and down to the Mediterranean Sea, again I would categorize them into main 6 areas. At the end of the valley of Nueva Andalucia is the golf course of La Quinta and the Melia hotel which offers villas, apartments and townhouses mostly in front line golf positions or with views over the valley and down to the coast, all within 5 minute drive of Puerto Banús.

The town of Benahavis is a typical white Andalusian village with its narrow streets, market places and great variety of restaurants. The oldest remains of the town are the remains of an old castle set in an eagles nest position and dating from the 10th century. Local inhabitants mix with the foreigners who have bought townhouses and apartments in and around the centre of town.

Overlooking the town is La Zagaleta, one of the most prestigious Golf & Country Clubs in the world enjoying 2 private golf courses, an equestrian centre, tennis courts, fishing lake and 24 hour security. This exclusive estate is located 12 kilometers up the Ronda road and is home to many famous people offering exceptional villas with breathtaking views and total privacy and security.

That same road to Ronda also offers access to the gated community of El Madroñal enjoying 24 hour security and set in the middle of a magnificent pine forrest, Los Arqueros and its golf course, la Reserva de Alcuzcuz and the lovely townhouses of La Heredia, a colorful Andalusian community with restaurants and shops.

On the other side of the Benahavis road we find two spectacular golf courses, surrounded by pine trees and going from one valley into the other: Marbella Club Golf Resort and Monte Mayor both offering magnificent villas with stunning views down to Gibraltar. This area is bordered by Los Flamingos and the famous Villa Padierna hotel visited by Michelle Obama in 2010 and offering 3 golf courses and a wide variety of recently completed luxury apartments or villas, again with 24 hour security and many facilities only a drive away.

Finally one of the most tranquil and established urbanizations with golf course originally built in the seventies is El Paraiso Alto, featuring elegant homes, set in a very residential area ensuring total privacy, once the holiday home to the ‘Artist formerly known as Prince’ or Bruce Willis, and it’s younger neighbor developed after the year 2000, the golf course of La Alqueria, that offers mainly contemporary villas but with an andalusian touch.
